According to Carly Fiorina, California's four-year drought has been caused by liberals. She claims that democrats and environmentalists prevented the building of additional dams and reservoirs since they believed it was needless destruction of the habitat. In her opinion, this prevented additional water collection which resulted in the lack of water now available to Californians. What Fiorina ignored was the fact that the drought isn't being caused by a lack of water collection, it's being caused by climate change preventing rain from falling. Environmentalists trying to preserve the habitat has very little, if anything to do with the drought that's been going on in California.
Carly Fiorina either forgot how the weather works or she's only trying to promote herself, a conservative nominee for Senate, by damaging people's view of liberals. She even went so far as to say it was a "classic case of liberals being willing to sacrifice other people’s lives and livelihoods at the altar of their ideology," clearly showing that she's only using this situation to throw liberals under the bus. It's been stated numerous times by scientists that climate change is making weather more erratic and California's drought is just one example of this. Carly Fiorina denying that the weather is messed up just to blame liberals is incredibly ridiculous.

Carly Fiorina sounds like she is a lunatic. I hope she isn't elected to the Senate.
ReplyDeleteMany conservatives have also said similar things like: the climate change is just a myth. And they have been known to call scientists liars for arguing points such as global warming. So she is probably one of those conservatives.
DeleteAlthough liberals don't cause climate change, they are a huge part of California's 25 billion dollar deficit.
